Timeshare rentals: Perfect for Guests

Say Yes to Guests with Timeshare Rentals

You've moved into your dream apartment. Everything is perfect. You brag to friends and family about the view, the neighborhood and especially how quiet it is. Soon you'll be getting that call telling you you're getting guests - for a week. You start breathing a little faster and say the only thing you can, "of course you can come." But where are you going to put them - the apartment isn't that big - or maybe they have children or other needs that make couch surfing improbable. Book a timeshare rental.

Why Timeshare Rentals are Better than a Hotel

While a hotel is great for overnight stays, when you rent timeshare you'll be getting a roomier suite - often with separate living, dining and kitchen areas, for the same or even less than the cost of a hotel. That may sound too good to be true but it's not. For one reason or another, owners simply don't use their timeshares. When they don't, they'll often put them on the rental market. Sometimes they are merely looking to recoup their annual maintenance fees. What would you rather pay, $100 per night for a hotel room or the same for a 1 bedroom suite?

Why Your Guests Will Thank You

Some people's preference for your couch rather than a hotel room has nothing to do with price. It's convenience they're looking for. It's much easier to buy some groceries and make a couple of sandwiches for lunch than it is to go out for every meal as you would in a hotel. If they have children, chances are you'll have at least one separate room in your house for the children to watch a movie, play games or take a nap. In a hotel the entire family is together. But in a timeshare, you'll be giving your guests the convenience of a home away from home.

How to Find Timeshares for Rent

Find rentals by looking in the same places you would if you want to buy timeshares. Most reputable resale companies will have a rental section on their websites where you can either bid or reserve a rental. Make sure to ask plenty of questions and look at pictures of the rooms before you reserve.

Renting a timeshare can be a convenient way to welcome guests to your city.
