There are advantages and disadvantages to both Condos and Single Family homes. What it comes down to is understanding what is the best choice for you. Condos, depending on location can offer a less expensive price, while house usually offer more privacy but tend to be higher in cost and upkeep. Consider these factors in your decision:

LocationWhat is best for you? Factor in elements like your commute to work, safety of the neighborhood, school districts, and taxes.

PrivacyDo you want to be really close to your neighbors, or have a level of privacy only offered by a house in the woods?

MaintenanceAre a do it your self person? A house is best for you. Often condo’s are maintained for you. Also consider that you may have to share decision making with neighbors.

BudgetAlways consider what you really can afford.
