About Spinning Wheel Apartments

The living is large and so are the views at Spinning Wheel Apartments, a 156-unit apartment complex in west suburban Hinsdale. Access to each unit is through large double doors framed by ornately carved wood trim on the exteriors. The trim and the large size of the doors makes it feel like you are making a grand entrance. An elevator from the lobby leads to the 17th-floor unit. The double doors open into a 6-by-8-foot entry foyer. It has a double coat closet on the left, plus another single closet, separated by a few feet of wall space. The double closet would be good for hanging coats, while the single closet might be used for storing a vacuum cleaner. The mill/museum has an operating grist mill and homestead that stand in a rustic setting with walking trails. It is within walking distance of the apartment building. The Graue Mill can be seen from the 11-by-14-foot dining room and 8-by-9 breakfast room, which are to the right of the living room.
