Stone State Park is at the northwest corner of the city and has been popular for decades with picnickers, day hikers, and mountain bikers. For somewhere closer to the city, Grandview Park is located just north of downtown. Grandview Park is known for its Municipal Bandshell, which is an open air theater which features live music every Saturday night. Behind the bandshell is a large rose garden which is popular for weddings, proms, and other special occasions.
