Perhaps no other spot on the map embodies the weather, the lifestyle and the attitude that more people find ideal than Miami. Immortalized in song, television and movies, only Hollywood itself has a bigger reputation for style, luxury and fun in the United States. For millions of Americans, the thought of swaying palm trees, spicy Latin music and 70 degree winter days are what Miami stands for, so it shouldn’t come as any surprise that the South Florida metro area is consistently one of the fastest growing spots in the country year after year. Founded in the late 1800’s, the city of Miami didn’t start to become the city it is today until after World War II, and it wasn’t until the 1970’s that spots like Miami Beach changed from “Heavens Waiting Room” to one of the most fashionable and luxurious spots in the world.

It is almost impossible to list all of the things to do in a city like Miami, but no discussion about this coastal city is complete without mentioning the beaches. The city of Miami Beach sports what is quite possibly, the best beach on the planet. Meticulously maintained and cared for by the city and by the local residents, the beach here provides a year round entertainment venue, as well as a perfect backdrop for hundreds of clubs, restaurants and bars. Working hand in hand with the beach is the amazing weather here. Unlike the rest of Florida which is routinely plagued by daily summer thunderstorms, the weather in Miami usually stays sultry and sticky throughout the night, perfect for taking a dip in the Atlantic.

Miami is also a city rich in culture and heritage. The large Hispanic population in the city adds a whole other feel to Miami, some compare Miami to the closest thing to a foreign city within the borders of the United States. One huge benefit of this is seen in the local restaurant industry. Few cities can touch Miami when it comes to dining out. The sheer number of restaurants that feature authentic Cuban, Puerto Rican, Mexican and South American cooking are almost infinite. It is easy to see why Miami is considered one of America’s shining jewels, and why renting a Miami apartment is such a good idea.

If you’re in the market for a Miami apartment, you can expect to pay $720-$850 for a studio space. If you’re in need of a larger one bedroom Miami apartment, you can expect to pay $850-$1000 per month in rent. If you are in need of an even larger Miami apartment, like a two bedroom unit, your rent will likely rise to $1100-$1500 depending on size and how close you are to the beach. A premium Miami apartment will likely run you at least $1600 per month with no real limit on how much a unit like this could cost.
