Trying to get a room full of people to agree on what is the most beautiful destination in the country might be a battle. You’ll have some that are positive it’s an east coast city, and others might think it’s in the west. But the most likely agreement you’ll get will be on the city of San Diego. There is a reason this spot in Southern California, just miles from the Mexican border, is often the site of such events as the Super Bowl: it is the most beautiful city in the country. And it goes even farther than that. Most people believe that San Diego has the best weather, the best people, the best food and the best overall everything! Can this city, founded in 1769, really live up to all of that hype? It sure can!

No discussion of San Diego can start without talking about the amazing beaches here. While so many of the beaches in Los Angeles are polluted because of the massive population there, in San Diego, the beaches are kept clean and heavy industry that could pollute the water and the sand is controlled. San Diego has also done a great job of controlling development throughout the city. This has lead to a huge amount of park and green space all over San Diego. This is one of the many reasons why San Diego is so highly regarded when it comes to a place to raise kids. You have park after park and seafront after seafront to enjoy at your leisure.

As wonderful as the green space and the beaches are, the best part about San Diego is the climate. Only Hawaii gets more praise when it comes to temperature, humidity and sun than San Diego. This wondrous combination makes San Diego residents sun worshipers year round. While the rest of the country is digging out from under the latest huge snow storm, you’ll be sitting on the patio of your new San Diego apartment, enjoying a warm winter’s breeze. There are very few spots that remain perfect year round, even cities like Tampa and Orlando drop below freezing once in a while, but San Diego is one of them.

If you are thinking about renting a studio San Diego apartment, you can expect to pay $700-$850 per month. A one bedroom San Diego apartment will generally start at $800-$1000 a month, while a two bedroom San Diego apartment will start at $1100. A super sized three bedroom or larger San Diego apartment will start at $1300 or higher.
