It is no secret that the population of the United States is growing and growing fast. Some cold weather states are actually losing population, so that must mean that everyone is moving someplace warm. The city of Phoenix, over the last 20 years, has been either the fastest growing city in the country or second to Las Vegas almost every year. With its amazing climate, land that seems to stretch out forever and reasonably low cost of living, Phoenix is a paradise that is within the reach of tens of thousands of Americans. Incorporated in 1881, Phoenix began to explode in size with the arrival of the railroad, and most residents say it hasn’t stopped growing since. A Phoenix apartment is an excellent way to get to know this great new city.

There are plenty of things to do here in the desert, and many of them involve enjoying the amazing weather here. Physical fitness is a big part of living in Phoenix. Since the temperatures here get so hot, many people live in shorts and tank tops. That means working out, jogging, running and biking is a way of life here. New residents need to take care though, the hot weather can be deceiving when it comes to regulating your body temperature. Always make sure you carry water with you if you are out enjoying the day in Phoenix. The city of Phoenix also has many sports teams that can help you relax after a day of working out. The NHL’s Coyotes are a very popular pick during the warm winters here and the MLB’s Diamondbacks have already won a World Series in the short time that they have existed. Phoenix also regularly plays home to some of the best college football games of the year in the Fiesta Bowl on New Year’s Day.

Without a doubt, the biggest attraction here is the sun! While the rest of the country is digging out from the latest snow storm, residents of Phoenix are sitting back and enjoying a warm winter’s day. It can get a bit sticky here in the summertime, but almost everything here is air conditioned to help deal with the heat, and although it may be a cliché, it is a dry heat, which many find easier to live with than a moist heat that you would find in a place like Florida.

If you are in the market for a studio Phoenix apartment, you can expect to pay $550-$800 depending on what part of town you live in. A one bedroom Phoenix apartment will generally run you $800-$1000, while a two bedroom Phoenix apartment will start at $1100 and go as high as $5000. If you need all the extra room you can muster, a three bedroom or larger Phoenix apartment will generally go for at least $1500 with no real limit.
